Free and low cost food

BNC offers a range of programs and services to support local people get access to low cost food options. We are able to do this through the fantastic support of Oz Harvest, Foodbank, Clubs NSW and Need a Feed. 

Breakfast Program

Our breakfast program provides a free breakfast to school aged children from 7.30 each school day. Cereal, toast, fruit, and other yummy options are available each day from our volunteers.

Community Shop

BNC's community shop is open from 9.30- 12.30 Monday to Wednesday every week (closed over Christmas). The shop provides a range of groceries at affordable prices to those with a Centrelink card. This service would not be possible without our volunteers who order and collect the food from Foodbank, and man the store!

Community Lunch

Come in on Wednesday between 11.30 and 12.30 for a sumptuous 2 course meal at no charge. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the wonderful food prepared by our volunteers. And watch out for special events during the year.
